Human factor has been identified as the most common factor in accidents at sea. The lack of teamwork and communication, improper attitudes, unsafe company cultures, inexperience, fatigue, stress, etc., are typical cause of errors. This training has the aim of establishing safe attitudes and create deeper understanding of what can lead to unsafe situations. All the following certificates are covered by Maritime Resource Management (MRM) and can be selected individually or in combination with each other. The training lasts for 3 or 4 days and includes:
A-II/1 Bridge Resource Management
A-III/1 Engine-room Resource Management
A-II/2 and A-III/2 Use Leadership and Managerial Skills
A-II/1, A-III/1 and A-III/6 Application of Leadership and Teamworking Skills
Ships' officers, engineers, maritime pilots and shore-based personnel
Computer-based training, lectures and workshops.
Choose the certificate you are interested in by completing the online application form and join the first group available. Upon the completion of the course, the participant receives the MRM certificate and the confirmation issued by the Ministry for each attended course. The certificate is issued to the participant who has attended 95% (or more) of the training course, while the practical part of the training has to be attended in its entirety.
